False Starts

When you're in a place of waiting on a promise. There are times called "false starts". In my season of waiting on God to manifest this promise in my life, there have been a few false starts. I started to go down the road of feeling unworthy and extremely disappointed. In my conversation with the Lord today I was asking the question of why? 

In my need to understand the meaning of a false start (an unsuccessful attempt to begin something). I heard Holy spirit in clarity. The false start has nothing to do with you not being worthy and the promise not being fulfilled. It has everything to do with the preparation for the promise. There are things in life that God wants to perfect in me so that when the promise comes, I honor it in a way that honors Him and myself.

This moment gave me the ability to do a self-scan, man there is nothing like self-reflection.

Although the "false starts" are not fun because we often feel disappointed.

Relationship with Holy spirit is amazing. It is always working within you to be who God has called you to be and that is the best version of yourself.
